The strategy will be based on the ALPS Kotak India Growth Fund which has a 5-year track-record, commencing in February 2011. The ALPS Kotak India Growth Fund however has its basis in two longer running funds, the Kotak India Growth Fund (large caps mandate) and the Kotak India Mid-Caps Fund, both of which have a 10-year track-record.

While USP is listed, the underlying investments are not liquid with the Fund not able to exit investments with ease. As such investors should have a long-term investment horizon to realise the full potential of the underlying investments.
