The past six months has seen Disruptive Investment Group (ASX: DVI) take a major step in the execution of its previously stated e-commerce strategy by entering into arrangements to acquire two online businesses.

Aruma Resources Limited (AAJ) is an ASX-listed gold exploration company seeking to upgrade its portfolio of projects to JORC resource status in order to facilitate a transition to producer status in the longer-term. The company’s projects are all located in the proven, high-grade Eastern Goldfields mining region near Kalgoorlie in Western Australia.

Australian-American Mining Corporation Limited (AIW) is a junior exploration company focused on brownfield projects located in the US. The company recently shifted its focus from uranium to copper/gold prospects, through the acquisition (subject to option) of two projects in Arizona. The change in focus was driven by a subdued uranium price and burgeoning copper and gold prices.

Greenland Minerals and Energy Ltd (GGG), is a mineral exploration and development company, focused solely on Greenland, the company announced several key high value events that will see it emerge as a global leader in the production of Rare Earth and Uranium.

Laconia Resources Limited (LCR) was listed in October 2009. The company provides exposure to precious and base metals through its interests in five deposits. Four assets are located in Western Australia and one in Peru, South America. The two projects of focus at present are the Rasuhuilca Project in Peru and the Lennons Find Project in Western Australia (WA). Both these projects have identified JORC resources.
